NOTE: Ina Thompson was a Moss Point merchant who operated a clothing and shoe store named "The Toggery." Before her death in 1972, she organized and funded the M. Ina Thompson Foundation that donated more than $500,000 to build the Moss Point Public Library, which is named in her honor.
