Pascagoula Public Library Invites the Community to Bingo Night

PASCAGOULA, Miss. – Get ready for an evening of excitement, friendly competition, and great prizes at Bingo Night at the Pascagoula Public Library!

Join us on Thursday, August 6, at 5:00 p.m. for a fun-filled evening of classic bingo. Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes while enjoying a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with family, friends, and fellow community members.

Pascagoula Public Library Invites Community to Board Game Evening

PASCAGOULA, Miss. – Roll the dice, make your move, and join the fun at Board Game Evening at the Pascagoula Public Library!

On Tuesday, August 11, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., the library will host an evening filled with friendly competition, laughter, and games for all skill levels. Whether you’re a master strategist, a puzzle enthusiast, or just looking for a fun night out, there’s something for everyone.

Participants can enjoy a variety of games, including:

• Classic and modern board games
• Chess and checkers
• Puzzles
• Card games

Think you’re the ultimate Candy Land champion? Ready to challenge a friend to a game of chess? Board Game Evening is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow game lovers, try something new, and enjoy an evening of community fun.

Snacks and drinks will be available, and attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance to reserve a table.

Pascagoula Public Library Announces the Return of LEGO Club

PASCAGOULA, Miss. – Builders, dreamers, and young creators are invited to put their imaginations to work as LEGO Club returns to the Pascagoula Public Library!

Children are invited to join the fun on Thursday, August 27, and Thursday, September 24, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., for an hour of creative building, problem-solving, and hands-on fun. Participants will use LEGO bricks provided by the library to design unique creations, explore architectural concepts, and bring their imaginations to life.

LEGO Club encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking while providing a welcoming space for children to learn and play together.

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

PASCAGOULA, Miss. – Gather around for a delicious afternoon of stories, fun, and everyone’s favorite campfire treat! The Pascagoula Public Library invites the community to celebrate National S’mores Day during Stories Are S’more Fun with Friends!

The program will take place on Friday, August 28, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Participants will learn about the history of s’mores before creating and enjoying their very own tasty treat.

This family-friendly event is a fun way to celebrate the sweet tradition of s’mores while encouraging literacy, creativity, and community connection.  Space and supplies are limited, so participants are encouraged to sign up in advance.

Pascagoula Public Library to Host Photography Showcase

PASCAGOULA, Miss. – Photography enthusiasts, history lovers, and anyone with cherished family photos are invited to explore the fascinating world of photography at the Photography Showcase hosted by the Pascagoula Public Library.

On Saturday, August 29, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., participants will take a journey through the evolution of photography, discovering how cameras and photographic technology have changed over the years. The program will also feature a display of photography equipment from different eras and practical tips for preserving treasured photographs for future generations.

Whether you’re an amateur photographer, a history buff, or simply want to learn how to better protect your family memories, this informative program offers something for everyone.

Pascagoula Public Library Hosts Weekly Preschool Storytime

Pascagoula, MS — The Pascagoula Public Library invites families to join Preschool Storytime every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Children can enjoy a morning filled with stories, songs, and fun activities led by Ms. Sara.  Storytime is designed especially for preschoolers, but children of all ages are welcome to participate. It’s the perfect opportunity to spark a love of reading while making memories together.

Teatime Returns to Pascagoula Public Library

Pascagoula, MS — The Pascagoula Public Library is delighted to announce the return of its beloved Tuesday Teatime gatherings after a long remodeling break.  Patrons are once again invited to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of warm tea, friendly conversation, and community connection in the library’s newly refreshed space.

Pascagoula Public Library Launches Silent Circle Book Club

Pascagoula, MS – The Pascagoula Public Library invites book lovers to unwind and reconnect with reading at its Silent Circle Book Club, held every third Tuesday from 5:00–6:00 p.m.

This unique, low-pressure gathering offers an hour of quiet reading time followed by an optional, relaxed discussion. There’s no assigned book—participants simply bring whatever they’re currently reading and enjoy a peaceful space surrounded by fellow readers.

Designed for those who love books but prefer a flexible, stress-free format, Silent Circle Book Club creates a welcoming atmosphere where community and literature come together.
