Lucedale George County Library Branch Adjusts Service Hours Effective July 1, 2024

The Jackson-George Regional Library System announces a service hours change for the Lucedale George County Library branch. After budget analysis, it was determined that current Lucedale library hours of operation are not fully supported by the amount of financial contributions paid from the City of Lucedale into the Jackson-George Regional Library System and must therefore be reduced. The reduced hours are set to take effect on July 1, 2024. The Jackson-George Regional Library System discussions with the City of Lucedale officials to resolve the situation and restore Lucedale Library hours to daily service are ongoing.

Starting July 1, 2024, the new Lucedale library hours will be:

Tuesday 9 am to 6:30 pm
Thursday 9 am to 6:30 pm Saturday 9 am to 4 pm
