ST. MARTIN, Miss. – Understanding Medicare can be overwhelming, but the St. Martin Public Library is making it easier with its new Medicare 101 educational series, beginning Wednesday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m. and continuing on the first Wednesday of each month.
Led by Nima Sherpa, a state-licensed insurance agent, these free informational sessions will cover a variety of Medicare topics, helping participants better understand their health care options and make informed decisions.
Each monthly session will focus on practical Medicare topics, including:

* Understanding Medicare coverage
* Applying for available assistance programs
* Medication coverage and formulary exceptions
* Navigating common Medicare questions
* Resources to help participants maximize their benefits

Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions for an open discussion in a welcoming, educational environment.
The Jackson-George Regional Library System is proud to offer programs that empower community members with valuable information and lifelong learning opportunities.
