Lucedale-George County Public Library Offers Children a Behind-the-Scenes Look at George County Fair Exhibits
LUCEDALE, Miss. — Children can learn what goes into one of George County’s favorite community traditions during a special County Fair Exhibits Children’s Program at the Lucedale-George County Public Library on Tuesday, September 8, at 4 p.m.
Guest presenter Ann Howard, with the George County Farm Bureau and MSU Extension Office, will give young participants a behind-the-scenes look at the George County Fair. Children will learn how the fair works, discover more about its exhibits and activities, and find out how they can take part in the annual tradition.
The program provides an opportunity for children and families to learn more about agriculture, community involvement and the work that goes into bringing the county fair to life each year.
Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
