Supported Employment Program at Gautier Public Library

Gautier, MS – Gautier Public Library will host a special Adult Community Support session on Thursday, November 6, at 10:30 a.m., featuring a presentation by South Mississippi Mental Health Services. This informative program will focus on Individual Placement and Support (IPS), a proven approach to helping individuals with mental health conditions find and maintain meaningful employment. Attendees will learn how IPS works, the benefits it offers, and how it can positively impact lives and communities.

The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Gautier Public Library.  Join us to learn, connect, and support our community’s journey toward wellness and inclusion.

Bedazzled Book Covers Craft at Gautier Public Library

 Gautier, MS – Gautier Public Library invites book lovers and crafters alike to join us for a sparkling good time at our Bedazzled Book Covers event on Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m.

Bring your creativity, and maybe a favorite book from home, as we transform ordinary book covers into dazzling works of art! All materials will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own books to personalize. This fun, hands-on craft is perfect for anyone who loves reading, art, or just a little extra sparkle. Come express yourself, enjoy good company, and give your books a glamorous new look!  Call to reserve your spot!  All supplies provided.

Teen Craft Night at Gautier Public Library

Gautier Public Library invites teens to unwind, get creative, and connect with other young makers at Teen Craft Night on Monday, November 10, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Have a craft project you haven’t had time to finish? Or maybe you just like to create in good company? Bring your supplies and join our crafting circle for an evening of fun, creativity, and conversation.

Refreshments will be provided, and everyone is encouraged to bring their own project, whether it’s painting, knitting, scrapbooking, jewelry-making, or anything else you love to craft!  Come hang out, create, and make something amazing together!

Page Turners Monthly Book Club Meeting at Gautier Public Library

Gautier Public Library invites readers to join us for our Page Turners Monthly Meeting on Saturday, November 22, at 10:30 a.m.  This month’s featured discussion book is the national bestseller The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon, a captivating novel that explores mystery, family, and the power of perspective.

Each month, Page Turners gathers readers to share thoughts on the book of the month and talk about other great reads. It’s a welcoming space for book lovers to connect, exchange ideas, and discover new stories together.

Refreshments will be generously provided by the Friends of the Gautier Public Library. Come for the conversation, stay for the community, new members are always welcome!

Gautier Public Library Hosts Monthly Trivia Night at Antonio’s Pizzeria, New Date and Time

Gautier, MS — Think you know it all? Put your knowledge to the test at Trivia Night with the Gautier Public Library, held at Antonio’s Pizzeria on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of fun, food, and friendly competition while supporting your local library. Trivia Night is free to play and open to all—bring your friends, form a team, and see if you have what it takes to be the champions!

Monthly Friends of the Library Meeting

Gautier, MS — The Gautier Public Library invites community members to join the Friends of the Library Monthly Membership Meeting, held every third Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the library.

These meetings offer an opportunity to support and shape the future of the library through discussions on fundraising, marketing, and event planning. Members also provide valuable feedback and ideas for programs and services that benefit the entire community.

Annual membership is just $5 for individuals or $10 for families, with corporate sponsorships beginning at $25. New members are always welcome!
