St. Martin Public Library Celebrates America’s 250th with Family Patriotic Rock Painting
ST. MARTIN, Miss. — Families are invited to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the St. Martin Public Library during a special Family Patriotic Rock Painting program on Thursday, July 9, at 3:00 p.m.
The event will feature a presentation by Ms. Corinne of the Friendship Oak Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, who will share the story of the Declaration of Independence and how the signers came together to create one of the nation’s most important historical documents.
Following the presentation, families will have the opportunity to paint patriotic-themed rocks together as they commemorate this milestone anniversary in American history.
This family-friendly program is open to all ages. Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
