Friends of the Ocean Springs Municipal Library Host Senior Giving Tree, December 1–16
The Ocean Springs Municipal Library and the Friends of the Ocean Springs Municipal Library invite the community to participate in this year’s Senior Giving Tree from December 1–16. The holidays can be a challenging and lonely time for many seniors, and this program offers a meaningful way to share kindness.
Community members may visit the library to select a senior from the Giving Tree. Each senior from the Ocean Springs Senior Center has provided a short list of items they enjoy. Participants are asked to return unwrapped gifts valued under $50 no later than noon on December 17, so the Friends group may wrap and prepare them for delivery.
The library and Friends organization thank the community for helping brighten the season for local seniors.
