JACKSON/GEORGE COUNTY, MS — The Jackson-George Regional Library System is proud to celebrate National Library Week, April 19–26, 2026, with the theme “Finding Your Joy.”
National Library Week is a time to recognize the important role libraries play in strengthening communities and enriching lives. From books and digital resources to programs and services for all ages, libraries offer countless opportunities to learn, connect, and be inspired.
Throughout the week, community members are encouraged to visit their local branch, explore new materials, and take part in the many resources available. Whether discovering a new favorite book, attending a program, or simply enjoying a welcoming space, the library is a place where everyone can find joy.
