The Return of PBS Kids Afternoon Block Brings Fun, Learning, and Adventure to Moss Point Families
Moss Point, MS — The Ina Thompson Moss Point Library is thrilled to announce the return of the PBS Kids Afternoon Block, a weeklong series of educational and entertaining programming designed for children and families. The event will run October 3–10, from 1:00–3:00 p.m., offering a safe, welcoming space for children to enjoy some of their favorite PBS Kids shows.
The PBS Kids Afternoon Block combines entertainment with learning, encouraging creativity, literacy, and critical thinking through beloved programs. Children can look forward to classics such as Reading Rainbow, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, and Carl the Collector, as well as newer adventures like Yeti Tales, Lyla in the Loop, Milo, and Cadget.

Branch Manager Liz Murphy says, “We are so excited to bring back PBS Kids Afternoon Block! These programs provide children with a chance to engage with stories and characters that promote learning, creativity, and social-emotional growth. We encourage families to join us for this week of fun and educational entertainment.”
Safety and Accessibility:
Children under age 11 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver aged 16 or older. The event is free and open to the public, making it accessible for all families in the Moss Point community.
