Lucedale-George County Public Library Announces “Unearth a Story” Teen Summer Programs
LUCEDALE, MS — Lucedale-George County Public Library invites teens to dig into creativity, science, and discovery this summer with its CSLP Unearth a Story Teen Program Line-Up, held Mondays at 2:00 PM throughout June.
These exciting summer programs are designed to engage teens with hands-on activities, educational presentations, and creative projects inspired by this year’s summer reading theme, Unearth a Story.
Teen Program Schedule:
🦴 June 1 — Fossil Models with 3D Pens
Create fossil-inspired designs using 3D pens provided by MLC.
🐄🦖 June 8 — Dairy and Dinos
Presented by Ann Howard from the MSU Extension Office, this fun and educational session combines dinosaurs with dairy science.
💎 June 15 — “Amber” Jewelry with UV Resin
Design prehistoric-inspired jewelry pieces using UV resin techniques.
🦎 June 22 — All About Reptiles
Special guest Alyce Cole will introduce participants to the fascinating world of reptiles.
