Lucedale–George County Public Library Hosts Teen Poetry Slam at Local Coffee Bar
LUCEDALE, MS – Lucedale–George County Public Library invites tweens and teens to take the stage at a Poetry Slam Teen Program on Thursday, January 29, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., hosted at Mixon Up Coffee Bar, located at 432 Cowart Street in Lucedale.
This energetic event encourages young poets to share original work or perform favorite verses in a welcoming, creative environment. Whether participants are seasoned writers or simply enjoy self-expression, the poetry slam offers a chance to be heard, connect with peers, and celebrate the power of words.
The program is open to tweens and teens in 5th grade and up.
