Lucedale-George County Public Library Hosts Special Author Reading with Johnny Newell
LUCEDALE, MS — Lucedale-George County Public Library invites families to a special Author Book Reading Event featuring local author Johnny Newell on Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 AM.
During this special story time event, Johnny Newell will read from his heartwarming children’s book, When Your Heart Is Tired. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the beloved character Menhea and enjoy photo opportunities following the reading.
When Your Heart Is Tired is described as a tender and hope-filled story for children and the adults who care for them. Through comforting illustrations, gentle words, and grounding practices, the book encourages readers to find calm, reassurance, and peace during difficult moments.
