Lucedale–George County Public Library Hosts “Fur-st Friday” Adoption Event & Read to a Pet Day
Lucedale, MS — The Lucedale–George County Public Library invites the community to a heartwarming and family-friendly event, “Fur-st Friday” Adoption Event: Read to a Pet Day, on Friday, May 1 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
In partnership with Rise & Shine Rescue, the library will welcome adorable adoptable pets looking for their forever homes. Families and children will also have the unique opportunity to participate in a Read to a Pet activity, where kids can share stories with friendly shelter animals.
This special event celebrates literacy, compassion, and community connection, offering a fun and meaningful experience for all ages.
The event is free and open to the public.
