Gautier Public Library Invites Creative Minds to Monthly Junk Journaling Group
GAUTIER, Miss. — Gautier Public Library invites adults and teens interested in creative journaling, paper crafting, and mixed-media art to join its Junk Journaling Group, which meets on the first Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in the library’s meeting room.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Gautier Library, the ongoing program provides participants with an opportunity to explore the art of junk journaling—a creative hobby that transforms everyday materials such as paper scraps, book pages, photographs, ephemera, and keepsakes into personalized journals and memory books.
Whether attendees are experienced journal makers or new to the craft, the group offers a welcoming environment to share ideas, learn techniques, and connect with fellow creatives. Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials and projects or simply come to learn more about this growing artistic pastime.
The monthly gathering promotes creativity, storytelling, and self-expression while fostering community among local crafters and artists.
