East Central Public Library Goes “Nuts” for National Squirrel Appreciation Day
East Central Public Library invites the community to celebrate National Squirrel Appreciation Day with a creative, hands-on program on Wednesday, January 21, at 10:00 a.m.
During “We’re Getting Nutty for Squirrels,” participants of all ages will paint their own flexible wooden squirrel, letting their creativity run wild with color. No live animals are involved—just plenty of artistic fun.
Space is limited, and advance sign-up is required. Interested participants may call the library or register at the front desk. Since painting can get messy, attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly.
