Lucedale-George County Public Library Partners with Local Homeschool Group for Community Book Fair
LUCEDALE, Miss. – Book lovers, families, and homeschoolers are invited to shop for great reads while supporting the local library during the Homeschool Book Fair, hosted by Cowboys and Hippies Homeschool Group in partnership with Lucedale-George County Public Library.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be held August 24–28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, located at 323 Cowart Street in Lucedale.
Visitors can browse a wide selection of books for children, teens, and families while supporting literacy in the community. Best of all, all proceeds from the book fair will be donated to improve the Children's Area at the Lucedale-George County Public Library, helping create an even more engaging space for young readers.
Whether you're shopping for homeschool resources, classroom favorites, or books to inspire a lifelong love of reading, this event offers something for every reader.
