Ocean Springs Municipal Library Cookbook Club Features Spooky Seasonal Fun
Ocean Springs, MS – The Ocean Springs Municipal Library, part of the Jackson-George Regional Library System, invites the community to join the next Cookbook Club meeting on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
This month’s featured title is The Unofficial Hocus Pocus Cookbook by Bridget Thoreson. Inspired by the beloved cult-classic film, this cookbook is filled with bewitchingly delicious recipes and spooky treats perfect for Halloween.
Participants are encouraged to check out the book using the Libby app or by borrowing a copy directly from the library. Each member prepares a dish from the featured cookbook to share in a potluck-style gathering. Together, the group enjoys tasting, discussing recipes, and exploring the flavors, background, and complexity of the chosen book. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned cook, all are welcome!
