Lucedale-George County Public Library Hosts Foster Parent Forum with Mississippi Department of Human Services
LUCEDALE, Miss. — Individuals and families interested in learning more about foster care are invited to attend a Foster Parent Forum at the Lucedale-George County Public Library on Friday, July 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Representatives from the Mississippi Department of Human Services will be on hand to provide information about the foster care system, explain the process of becoming a foster parent, and answer questions from attendees.
The forum is designed for anyone interested in making a difference in the life of a child, whether they are simply exploring the idea of fostering or are ready to begin the certification process. Participants will learn about the qualifications, responsibilities, and support resources available to foster families in Mississippi.
