St. Martin Public Library Invites Kids to Join the 2025 Summer Library Program: “Color Our World”

The St. Martin Public Library is thrilled to launch its 2025 Summer Library Program for elementary students with this year’s theme: “Color Our World”!

Children will explore the beauty of storytelling, nature, music, and creativity through free weekly programs. Plus, readers can earn prizes all summer long!

🌟 Program Lineup:

  • June 11: Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve – Nature’s Color

  • June 18: Micki Lofton & Bethany Carlisle – Colorful Stories

  • June 25: Wink Danenburg – Colorful Entertainment: Juggling & Comedy

  • July 2: Color Our World with Music

Preschool programs will also be offered every Thursday at 10:00 AM.

Join the Fun at St. Martin Public Library’s Summer Library Party!

MARTIN, MS – The St. Martin Public Library invites families to join us for a Summer Library Party on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This exciting event is the perfect way to kick off the summer, filled with fun activities for all ages.

The afternoon will feature:

  • Books
  • Board games
  • Arts & crafts
  • Light refreshments

St. Martin Public Library Launches 2025 Summer Teen Library Programs

MARTIN, MS – The St. Martin Public Library is excited to announce its 2025 Summer Youth Library Programs, offering engaging and creative activities for youth entering 6th grade and up. These programs are designed to ignite creativity and fun while exploring the theme of “Color Our World.”

The schedule includes:

June 11 | 2:00 PM – Among Us Escape Room
Can you find the imposter before time runs out in this interactive, colorful escape room experience?

June 18 | 2:00 PM – Seed Bead Pendants
Create your own retro-inspired 80’s seed bead pendant to hang on backpacks, shoes, or pants!

June 24 | 2:00 PM – Tie Dye T-Shirts
Bring your own t-shirt, pillowcase, or canvas bag and get creative with colorful tie-dye!

July 2 | 2:00 PM – International Snack Tasting
Explore a colorful world of snacks from different countries and try something new!

Youth programs are free and open to all students entering 6th grade and up. Pre-registration is required.

MARTIN, MS – The St. Martin Public Library invites adults 18 and older to tap into their creative side this summer with a colorful and engaging lineup of events. As part of the 2025 Adult Summer Library Program, participants can enjoy hands-on art workshops, a lively trivia night, and opportunities to connect with others in the community—all completely free of charge.

The schedule includes:

June 5 | 4:00 PM – Canvas Stenciled Tote Bag
Learn to design your own vibrant tote bag using stencils and colorful paints.

June 12 | 4:00 PM – Butterfly Watercolor Painting
Beginner or pro, come paint beautiful butterflies and explore watercolor techniques.

June 19 | 4:00 PM – Trivia Night @ Biloxi Country Cafe
Gather your friends for a fun evening of trivia! (Food and drinks not included.)

Discover Homeschooling Resources at the St. Martin Public Library

MARTIN, MS – The St. Martin Public Library invites parents, guardians, and educators to a special Homeschooling Resources session on Tuesday, June 24, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

St. Martin Public Library Hosts American Red Cross Blood Drive on June 30

MARTIN, MS – The St. Martin Public Library is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to host a community Blood Drive on Monday, June 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the library. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Your donation can help save the lives of accident victims, cancer patients, and those undergoing surgery or organ transplants. Participants are encouraged to register ahead of time online at www.redcrossblood.org by selecting their preferred time slot. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.

Lego Club

ST. MARTIN, MS __ The St. Martin Public Library invites children to join the LEGO Club, where creativity and imagination come to life with fun Lego building activities! This exciting program will take place monthly on January 21, February 18, March 18, April 15, and May 13 at 3:30 p.m. Children will enjoy building with Legos based on unique themes and challenges each month. The club is designed for children ages 6 to 12, but all school-aged children are welcome to participate. Please note that children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Homeschool Crafternoon

ST. MARTIN, MS __ Join us at the St. Martin Public Library on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for our exciting Homeschool Crafternoon event! Bring your family and drop in anytime between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to get creative in the Children’s Library. After the craft session, feel free to stick around and mingle with other homeschoolers. No need to register, but it’s preferable. This program is perfect for elementary-aged children and is made possible by the Friends of the St. Martin Public Library. Remember, children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult. We can’t wait to see you there!
