GA -Free Cooking Matters Course Coming to Gautier Public Library

GAUTIER, Miss. — Adults are invited to strengthen their kitchen skills during Cooking Matters, a free six-week, hands-on cooking course at the Gautier Public Library.
Classes will be held Thursdays from October 8 through November 19, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Trained educators will teach food preparation, grocery shopping, food budgeting, and nutrition. Participants will also prepare and taste recipes during class while learning how to make healthy, flavorful family meals.
Cooking Matters helps participants gain confidence using a knife, preparing meals with ingredients already available at home and creating nutritious meals on a budget.
