Lucedale-George County Public Library Invites Community to Mahjong Open Play
LUCEDALE, Miss. — Whether you’re an experienced Mahjong player or have always wanted to learn, the Lucedale-George County Public Library invites you to join its Mahjong Open Play sessions in September.
Open Play will be offered on Monday, September 14, from 4–6 p.m.; Monday, September 28, from 4–6 p.m.; and Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m.–noon.
The sessions provide a fun, social setting where participants can play, meet other Mahjong enthusiasts, and strengthen their skills. Players will be grouped according to experience level. Those who are new to Mahjong are welcome, too. Beginners will be seated with a Table Guide who can answer questions, provide support, and help them learn as they play.
Each session is limited to 16 participants, and advance sign-up is encouraged. Participants may call or stop by the library to register.
Snacks will be provided by the Friends of the Lucedale-George County Public Library.
