St. Martin Public Library Serves Up Science and Sweet Treats with "Ice Cream in a Bag" Program
ST. MARTIN, Miss. – Science has never tasted so sweet! The St. Martin Public Library invites children to explore the science behind making homemade ice cream during its fun-filled Ice Cream in a Bag program.
The program will be held on Wednesday, August 26, at 3:30 p.m., and is designed for children ages 6–11. Participants will discover the science of freezing while creating their very own serving of ice cream using simple ingredients and a hands-on experiment.
This engaging STEM activity combines learning and fun, giving children the opportunity to explore chemistry while enjoying a delicious frozen treat.
All supplies are provided through the generous support of the Friends of the St. Martin Library.
Registration opens on the first day of the month, and advance registration is required as space is limited.
The program is free for children ages 6–11.
