SPECIFIC POLICIES RELATING TO
ST. MARTIN LIBRARY MEETING ROOM
Approved by the JGRLS Board of Trustees May 24, 2005
- The St. Martin Public Library operates its
meeting room under policies established by the Jackson-George Regional
Library System Board of Trustees. Groups using the meeting room agree to
abide by these policies.
- The Library’s meeting room is available for use from
9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The meeting room capacity is 75
persons seated. The room is not available on Sundays. Library hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
- The meeting room keys must be picked up and
signed for by the applicant or a designated responsible party during
regular Library hours and returned in the book drop immediately following
the meeting or event. The Library is not responsible if the applicant, representatives
or the organization fails to obtain the key prior to the meeting.
- The applicant will be responsible
for discipline and reasonable care of the meeting room and furnishings.
The applicant will be financially responsible for any damage to the
facilities, equipment or contents or for the theft of Library equipment or
furnishings.
- Groups are responsible for arranging the meeting
room as needed.
- The Library will provide trash containers/trash
bags. Groups will be responsible for the removal of all trash from the
Library premises at the end of the meeting. Kitchen facilities are not
available in the Library.
- Reservations from groups are accepted for a
period of one year for meetings beginning in September and ending in
August. Reservations for single meetings are accepted at any time.
