The Board of Trustees has established, approved and will enforce certain policies and standards of behavior which patrons must adhere to when using the libraries of the Jackson-George Regional Library System. These policies and standards are contained in the Board-approved manual published under the title "Poise Under Fire: Dealing with Problem Situations and Management During Emergencies". "Rules of Conduct While Using the Jackson-George Regional Library System" have also been adopted and are posted in all library facilities. In addition, procedures for handling non-disruptive and disruptive behavior as well as library management during emergency situations have been established.
The policies, standards, and procedures presented in the "Poise Under Fire" manual were accepted by the Jackson-George Regional Library System Board of Trustees on December 17, 1996. All subsequent Board-approved revisions to this policy manual will show the date the revision was adopted.
