Affordable Care Act (ACA) Information

On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed comprehensive health reform the Affordable Care Act.

The Affordable Care Act includes changes and a number of options in healthcare coverage. There are a wide variety of resources available online that provide information about these options, and how to choose what is best for you.

Please realize there are limits to how much we can help you. We do not have the credentials to provide legal, financial, medical or any other personal advice.  If available, we will be happy to provide resources and help you locate websites that could be of help. -- JGRLS Policy, Last Revised & Approved September 25, 2012, Regional Board

Library staff can direct patrons to resources. Making the correct healthcare choices requires an understanding of each person’s or family's unique health and financial circumstances. The library staff are not trained or licensed to provide advice or to assist in selecting a specific health plan.

Library staff may provide information and direct you to RESOURCES about the Affordable Care Act that will help you make your own choices.
