Imagine Your Story on-line this Summer! Look for events and programs here!

Jackson-George Regional Libraries will again host summer programs for children and families in June and July. Virtual programs will begin on Monday, June 8.

Imagine Your Story is the theme this year. This year, all programs will be held on-line at JGRLS.org, or on Facebook at Jackson George Library. Programming will offer special guests and story-themed events and are age appropriate for preschool, elementary, and teens. Any child may visit the library to pick up a free Imagine Program Kit to participate. The kit is also available for download from the library website. The kit has activity sheets, word games, coloring pages and other exciting things inside.

Free summer library programs for children offered on-line!

Children are invited to “Imagine Your Story” at coast libraries this summer with programs for all ages. The Jackson-George Regional Library System summer reading programs begin June 9, on-line from the library website and on Facebook @Jackson George Library.

Parents are encouraged to pick up a free summer program kit at libraries for a full list of on-line programs for children. The kits include activity sheets, coloring sheets, and program lists.

Scheduled programs and events are: Elementary age on Tuesdays at 2 p.m.; Teens on Wednesday at 4 p.m.; and Preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m., each week. Other programs are Craft Days: June 15, June 29 and July 6 - at 2 p.m.

Recipes: Beignets, Lemonade, Funfetti Unicorn Horns, Snow White Caramel Apples, Mad Hatter Roll ups.

Teen programs are on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.
