Free Summer Reading was a big hit at area Libraries

Registration for the "Fizz, Boom, Read" summer reading program was a record-breaker! Thousands of children and teens registered for summer fun for 2014!

When children are free to choose their own reading materials, wonderful things happen. Often children who are resistant to reading books during the school year find a topic of interest and read about things they like over the summer.
