Library cardholders can search for and check out free eBooks through the JGRLS public access catalog (PAC) or by going directly to the JGRLS
Axis 360 eBooks Library.

Getting started for the Kindle Fire

Go to: blio-reader installation help PDF

Log in to Axis 360 using your library card ID & PIN to check out eBook titles.

If you prefer more detailed instructions or a printer friendly version, click here.

Getting started for the iPhone/iPad

From your device, open the App Store (You must have an Apple ID to access the App Store.)

Search for Blio

Tap FREE, INSTALL APP (You may be asked to create security questions to secure your Apple ID.)

Follow any download instructions, Tap OPEN

From your device, go to http://www.blio.com

Tap New Account (top right)

Register for a new Blio ID & password

When done, tap SUBMIT

Tap "Sign Out" and close the web browser

Log in to Axis 360 using your library card ID & PIN to check out eBook titles. (See "Download eBooks from Axis 360 instructions.")

If you do not see instructions for your eReader device on the BLIO download web page, please consult your instruction manual. Some eReader devices are not compatible with Blio.

Customers needing more detailed assistance should refer to the Magic Wall "Help" button at the top of the Axis 360 page. If you need additional help or these instructions need clarification, contact us by e-mail to ebooks@jgrls.org. We will respond to your questions in the order they are received.


Getting started with Blio for the Nook, Sony Reader & Kobo devices

From your computer, go to www.adobe.com/ cfusion/membership/

Click Create an Adobe Account

Complete the registration form

Write down your Adobe ID & password

Then go to www.adobe.com/ products/digitaleditions/

Install Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) software on your PC

When done, activate ADE with your Adobe ID & password

Open Axis 360 and select & check out title in EPUB format (See instructions Download eBooks from Axis 360 below)

Download title to your computer

In ADE, transfer title to Nook via a USB cord

Additional Information and Support

You must have a valid JGRLS Library card and PIN number (I don't have a PIN).

Maximum check outs per patron are 2 at a time.

Maximum lending period is 21 days.

Titles cannot be renewed, but they can be placed on hold and/or checked out again after they expire.
